My
name is Gabriella Kun. I was born in
Tápióság, in a little village near
Budapest, Hungary in 1971. My profession is
agricultural engineer and German translater.
I was always interested in literature and
art but unfortunately I could be only a „viewer”,
an outsider and not a „creator”. The
most impressive works I have found are in
the literature, movies and – in the
photography. I discovered the
photography for myself 5-6 years ago. It was
the inspiration of one friend of mine
to try to make some nudes. I started with a
second-hand Minolta X-300s. 3 years ago I
bought a camera Olympus E-10. My photo
studio was and still is my living room,
the lights are simple reading lamps and my
model is usually myself. With my nudes
I prefer to show and reflect feelings, mood,
playing with lights and
shades. In my works I would not like to
emphasize only the beautifulness of a human
body, but to impress on heart of the people
who are watching them. |
